The BSGNY Meets Monthly at 2 Locations - Read below for DatesLocations. Aug 14 : Swap Meet at Suburban Water Gardens at 11:00 AM. Bring a
bonsai, pre bonsa, Bonsai Pot or anything bonsai related to swap or
sell & enjoy a great day of bonsai barter & sales. BSGNY will provide
some Hot Dogs & Hamburgers & Sodas. Bring a friend.
Sept 24: Bonsai Show Preparation by John Capobianco. John will
demonstrate how to prepare your Bonsai for a show or competition.
Cleaning the Pot - placement of accent plants - choosing a stand etc.
At SUNY Farmingdale Greenhouse at 8 PM.
October 23 Our BIG EVENT - The Yoshimura Competition Bonsai
Show - We are bringing back this Main Event in an effort to re establi-
sh the culture of True Bonsai and Invite our members & other Bonsai
Societies to display their Best Bonsai Trees. This Event will be held at Suburban Water Gardens from 12 noon to 6 PM. More Details will be published here at this site - Stay Tuned for details.
